Cambridge to ban all animal sales

You can find the details here. Animal rights groups are definitely gaining confidence not even sparing dogs or cats this time.

pet snake 78-read the action alert. that's a bunch of bull ----! what idiot came up with that? some stupid hater i guess. i used to think animal rights groups were nice people trying to help animals-but it seems they are a bunch of fanatics that have no idea what they are talking about. just like the pet shops here that no longer sell feeder mice.

The creepy thing about animal 'rights' is that the actual foundation was set up on the belief that all animals should have the same rights as HUMANS.

They are a sick kind of people a whole different breed of homeland terrorists if you ask me.

Gonna have to agree with Minkness on this one, too...many of the members of the AR group would rather kill all animals than let them live under the care of humans. Either that, or set them "free" in the wild, where they will subsequently die or destroy the ecosystem. I am extremely anti-AR and wish groups like HSUS and PETA didn't have so much legal influence in the US.

Terrorism is a good word for it, we've even had to pass a law to try stopping it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal..._Terrorism_Act

Ugh I can't stand animal rights folks. Animal welfare is (usually) good, but the AR people are like PETA and all that crap.

That whole thing is horrible. Hopefully it fails.

Re: Cambridge to ban all animal sales

Ugh... Pet shops I would somewhat agree with, but when you make the definition of pet shop so vague, it becomes stifling. Why not just ban all animal mills? The sad thing is, there's such a disconnect between responsible breeders of all animals and the public's impression (only really being informed about mills) that I could easily see how this would pass. Guess it's still better than the opposite, but better isn't really good enough.
