Found this snake in my garage...what kind of snake is it and is it dangerous?
Anyone know what kind of snake this is and if it is dangerous? It showed up in my garage today. I live in Bucks County, PA. I've never seen a snake this big that wasn't in a cage. Thanks!

It is a bit hard to tell because of the quality of the picture but I think this is an eastern garter snake. What I can tell you is this snake is no way dangerous.

Def looks like a harmless garter snake to me.

I live in Cambria, and I see them a lot here. It's just a garter snake, they aren't venomous or anything. Harmless.
