Crested escapee

Does anyone have any experience with re-catching escaped crested geckos? My son didn't close one of his enclosures correctly and it escaped. It's somewhere in our family room which is separated with doors due to us heating the room for the reptiles we keep. I was just wondering if there is anything I can use to lure and re-catch him?

You can try putting plastic bags doen and turn the lights off and just. .wait.

They usually turn up after a few days.

They often don't travel far from their cage, so you can search the immediate area for him. Or wait until an hour after dark and turn on the lights and look around at good hunting spots. Don't see him? Turn off the lights and check again in a couple hours.
