Genuine HOOP Snakes

This one puzzled me at first. Apparently, my adult corn snake, while attempting to wriggle out of his skin, managed to crawl back into his own mouth, pulling his tail with him. He then had to tear a hole in his side to get back out again, but he left his tail skin around 14" down his throat skin, and left me with a circular hoop to wonder about. I've never seen this happen before, so imagine how surprised I was when the very next day a young Honduran milk snake of mine did the very same thing, on a smaller scale. What are the chances?

Re: Genuine HOOP Snakes

I agree, that is indeed strange behavior for one snake, but to have two snakes do the same thing on consecutive days is very strange.
