Your reptile room

I finally finished my "reptile room" but now I'm not sure how to furnish it, other than a lot of reptile enclosures Does anyone mind sharing pics of their reptile rooms? You dont need to show every specimen lol

Re: Your reptile room

I have a reclining love seat and an ikea lamp in the corner. The soft lighting at night is good for watching my BP explore his cage. Lights him enough I can see him but not harsh enough to bother him. His wood decor casts shadows so he seems to feel secure. I find his in cage LED strip is too bright and seems to "scare" him into hiding where with the lamp he might be out for an hour hanging in the open or moving around. I've tried using the LED but minutes after it goes on he seems to go into hiding. Could be coincidence but it's happened enough times I figure he doesn't like the harsh light. Generally only use it now when cleaning the whole cage. I still need to find some wall art for that wall but haven't found anything yet and have been debating on a small area rug in the center.

Re: Your reptile room

Nice set up, trailblazer. I would share pictures but my reptiles are kinda scattered around the house, don't have a specific room yet. One day.

Re: Your reptile room

Nice, mine is actually an insulated area of my workshop so I doubt it will look that nice, lol

Re: Your reptile room

Thanks, it's basically a spare bedroom but seeing as I live alone alas makes it a nice reptile room. I figured it was better than the basement and it's obviously nicer seeing as it has hardwood floor and better temp control.
