All Varanids Burrow

If anyone ever tells me you can keep a monitor lizard on anything other than soil... My peacock monitor who is mostly arboreal has dug a complex network of burrows, love how he still curls his tail. If anyone knows where to get or has an adult female please let me know. Thanks.

Re: All Varanids Burrow

Ya lol all monitors seem to like to burrow. There is a sub adult female long term captive for sale on kingsnake right now. The sellers name is Thomas he seems to vend a lot on kingsnake, maybe somebody here knows him? He's asking 300 plus shipping.

Re: All Varanids Burrow

Thanks man! Appreciate it. I'll probably look into buying it, only problem is she seems a bit small, id hate find her missing and my other guy incredibly fat lol. Reason is he is always ready to eat another lizard, in fact the only food he's eaten in front of me was a Texas spiny lizard
