What kind of snake is this

What kind of snake is this my guess is a black rat snake since I live in a urban area full of people

Hello ACER. What you have there is a Lycodon capucinus (Common Wolf Snake). It is rear fanged (Opisthoglyphous) and mildly venomous, but harmless. It is very common throughout its very large range that includes most of the Malay Archipelago.
