Question for black milk owners

I've been looking high and low for breeders that sell CB black milk snakes and they don't exactly abound on the Internet. I wonder if they just aren't that popular.

Where did you guys find yours? And if you don't mind sharing, about how much did they cost? I'm guessing you all didn't take a trip to Costa Rica and trek through the cloud forest, fighting off wandering spiders and jaguars to find your babies... although that would make a great story to share with your friends.

Re: Question for black milk owners

I've seen them at shows several times, but that's about it. I can't recall the prices but I don't think they were too expensive.

Also, think seasonal. Bot all snakes breed and produce year round. I had the same issue when looking for a ridleyi beauty but found out that come spring is when they are more abundant, then sell out by about fall.

As far as price goes for black milks, I believe the ones I previously looked at were $300. But don't quote me on that.

Also, try looking on king snake or faunaclassifieds.com. i prefer fauna to kingsnake personally.

Good luck!

I got mine from Isis reptiles and paid 185 shipped. They had another ad up for black milks a little while ago but I don't see one right now.

Do they have a website? I've heard nice things about them but can't find them.
