Hello Hello!

I've been looking for an active forum for reptiles where i can learn from others and share what i've learned. I used to have a large collection of 15 snakes and lost them all in a bad divorce, but I'm rebuilding, just adding 2 Albino Red tails to my new collection, Khaleesi and Drogo.

I've acquired an almost obsessive love for snakes. Red tails are by far my favorites so far, but I really do love them all. I had 6 different species of snakes in the past, and red tails are still at the top of the list for me. But I do tend to draw more towards the feisty and active sorts. I always liked Jungle Carpet pythons too for their spunk.

My name is Jessica, guys. And I am really excited to be here and join the community.

Re: Hello Hello!

Welcome Jessica,

I too just signed up. My main interests are corn snakes, rosy boas and blood pythons. But a pair of carpet pythons has been on my mind for quite a while. Maybe sometime in spring.

I like to trade snakes, haven' t reaced the sales level. Right now I have 19 baby rosy boas that could use a new home. They are finicky eaters though, so not quite ready to move out.

Anyway, nice to meet you. I'd be glad to send pics from my collection. Some of the corn snakes are unique with incredible markings and colors. The rosy boas are striking as babies but tend to lose their metallic qualities as they age.

So tell me about keeping carpet pythons. My space and budget are limited, but I still tend to buy cb adults rather than hatchlings. Good or bad idea?

Best regards,
Nils (silly name I made up but will go with for a while)
