Corn Snake Not Eating ... welp!
I have a corn snake about the size of a pencil and it has not eaten since I brought em home about 2 weeks ago. Temp and humidity seems to be ok, Im currently trying to feed him F/T which was what the breeder fed him before I purchased him.
How long should I wait before I start panicking? Any Tips, ideas, any input would be apprciated.
Thanks

Hi, have you tried any 'special method'? Like putting the snake and the pinky in a deli cup, braining the pinky, or leaving it overnight? Is the little fella active at day or night?

2 weeks isn't that long. 2 months and I'd worry.
Try leaving it 100% alone other than water changes and drop a pink in once every 7 days. You cam try the other methods mentioned above as well, but likit each attempt to once per 7 days.

He is still very active especially at night. I haven't tried any of those methods except leaving the pinky in over night.

The deli cup worked for me when leaving a pinky overnight didn't. Best wishes.

Put the snake and the smallest pinkie you can find into a paper bag. Fold the top of the paper bag over, put it back in the cage overnight.

Re: Corn Snake Not Eating ... welp!
If all else fails, try an appropriately sized live pinkie. I have found some breeders don;t fully transition their babies over to F/T before they sell them. Once you get him eating again, you can work on the transition over to F/T.
Good luck and please let us know what works for you.

Try this.
Also, two weeks is really nothing to worry about. Especially since it just got moved to a new home. Just keep trying every few days and most likely he will eat.

I'm only asking because this hasn't been asked, What are you temps and humidity? How do you heat the cage? How do you measure the heat and humidity, digital or analog?
Also have you been leaving him alone to acclimate? I usually recommend not handling the snake for the first 2-3 weeks.

Congrats. It's a great feeling when you figure out what they need!
