Dead Rattlesnake

I saw a screamer female yellow C. Molosus ( black tail rattlsnake) the other day in the sky islands that had been ran over and it's rattle removed.

The only time snakes end up dead here is if we can't tell if it's a cotton mouth or not or its an a parent venomous species when it's close to the house. One time my dog killed a cotton mouth (a good sized one too) without getting bitten... she's also quickly killed an armadillo... noisiest but one of the sweetest dogs I had.
