Can you spot 2

So these are 2 of my new additions. They are asian vine snakes. Their names are Higgins and Wedge. Can anyone spot both of them? They blend in very well. Sorry for picture quality all I have is my phone camera ATM. For now theyre feeding on live anoles or house geckos. Once theyre settled in and eating well ill try to switch them to frozen mice. They may never switch becsuse theyre wc but I will be trying.

Re: Can you spot 2

That was actually a question I forgot to ask. I've read they need hides up in the trees for security. As they don't go to the bottom.

Re: Can you spot 2

If they want security they do a coil under a big leaf.

My friend had 1 of the high hides for his and it never used it

Good to know, save the money for plants and climbing vines then.

Re: Can you spot 2

Ya the bendable vines work well my friend uses them. What i did was cut sticks to the exact width of the terrarium and wedged them in nice and snug. because theyre so light the sticks dont move at all.

They are crazy light, I couldn't feel him curled up on my hand and head resting on my forearm.

Fantastic additions rep! I was thinking about a pair of vines also. That has to be very interesting to watch them on feeding day. Enjoy.

Re: Can you spot 2

Looking good man, giving me terrarium design ideas. Haven't started assembly yet just buying different pieces and trying to picture what I want. To busy with work to start building lol. Next week though.

Re: Can you spot 2

This is what the terrarium looks like before they were in it. Heyre in the one on the left. The one on the right is awaiting the paradise flying snakes.

Re: Can you spot 2

Both cages look really really nice. I'm jealous, Hope mine turn out that well. I'll have to step my game up. I had to look up with a paradise flying snake was. Very cool looking snake, though that cage doesn't seem big enough lol can't watch it fly.

How did you get those branches to stay in place?

Re: Can you spot 2

The flying snake only "flys" when evading a predator and needs around a 50' drop to do it. Theres some cool videos of their "flights" on you tube.

The branches are just wedged in place between the sides. They're so light they dont disturb them.
