So the Provent-A-Mite seems to be working for my snake, as I've noticed lots of dead mites on the paper towels. I'd like to change the towels out for clean ones now that the mites are starting to die, but I was wondering if that would lessen the spray's effectiveness since the new paper towels wouldn't have any PAM on them. Or should the rest of the treated enclosure be enough?
Did you already do a retreat for the mite eggs? You treat initially then treat 2 weeks later. After that, a 3rd retreat after 1 month is the cycle. As for the paper towels you want to swap out its ok. Just make sure to do your retreatments otherwise the mites may return.
I have not yet retreated with PAM since it's only been about a week since the first treatment. I've been using Natural Chemistry Reptile Relief spray on my snake every 3 days though
