Question What kind of Snake is this?

He was very aggressive, tried biting my dog. Is he poisonous?

That is a beautiful Coachwhip, I wish they were more common in my neck of the woods. It couldn't even scratch your Great Danes, but they could kill it with one bite.

Nope. That guy will not hurt a Great Dane. And may consume any mice or other rodents on your property.

Yellow Rat Snake. You must be in Florida. It is also harmless.

Wow. I'd love to have coachwhips and yellow rats in my backyard. As mentioned both are harmless and will keep the rodent population down in your area.
