Question Italian Lizard ID

I'm trying to ID a lizard for my cousin. They are vacationing in Italy at the moment (I believe this photo was taken in Pompeii).

I know it's a Wall Lizard (Podarcis sp.), but which species?

Re: Italian Lizard ID

Wall lizards are tricky, there is a lot of reorganization of the different species going on recently. But from the description of the German Wikipedia it is the Dalmatian wall lizard (Podarcis melisellensis). Males may have a green back and they have a blue blotch at their shoulder. The English Wikipedia has no detailed description.

It's a beautiful lizard, and yes, I do believe Roman is correct.
