The first baby L.Williamsi has arrived!

After months and months of wondering if my group was laying fertile eggs I finally came home to this guy!!! He is freaking itty bitty and not nearly as shy as you might think. If anyone has experience with raising baby dwarf or micro geckos please share any tips or tricks!!

Fruitflies, tropical springtails, and hatchling dwarf purple isopods are whats on the menu! The little guy is pretty easy on the eyes!

Ziggs, Charis- Many thanks! There are another dozen or so Williamsi eggs that should be hatching out over the next couple months and 2 Phelsuma klemmeri eggs! The Hondos have been going at it for about a week now with confirmed lockups. I got my fingers crossed for some more extremes this year!

Glad to see the eggs were fertile! hope the rest go as well also. Whats the approx size on the babies? they look tiny just hard to tell how tiny. How long until youre able to determine gender?

Congrats! I just found some baby P. quadriocellata in the adult cage the other day, the female didn't eat the eggs after all. She was going for the babies though.

reptiledude987- Thanks man! They hatch out around 1 inch. I should be able to sex them around 6-8 months.

Pirarucu- Many thanks! Congrats on the baby peacocks! Do your babies still have all their tails and toes? What kind of set up do you keep your hatchlings in?

One is missing its entire tail, the other is missing the very tip, with a slight nick in the middle of the tail. Both have all their toes.
I've just got them in a 32oz deli cup with coco fiber and a plastic plant. It's a very simple setup, I'm probably going to switch out the plastic plant for a pothos cutting or a very small bamboo palm.
I also have an egg incubating, she put that one somewhere I could find it.

Well at least you got them out! I am sure the tails will grow back fine. My hatchling is in a very simlar setup.

Got another hatchling out this morning! This one lost its tail to mom or dad!
