These aren't exact percentages. But it's about 60% organic soil, 30% play sand, 10% eco earth.

Walmart. You get it at home depot too. I think it was Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Garden Soil.
Springtails should be here tomorrow.

They call them tank janitors. They eat feces, uneaten food, snake sheds I believe. It's for a bioactive setup.

Don't they eat wood that starts to decompose as well?

Not in this one. My King and Garter setups are similar and I have live plants in those.

I see "him" however, I can't determine exactly what it is? He looks like he's waiting for some unfortunate prey item to wander by so he can spring out and gobble it up.
