Re: Introducing Coa
Very nice milk snake. Are you still using the repti-carpet?

Re: Introducing Coa
Thanks guys! Ziggy, I have aspen bedding over it now. I kept it because, despite I control the heating mat in the basking area with a thermostat, I felt that it sometimes gets hotter beyond the safe point, the carpet reduces the direct heat and I can sleep in peace also I saw that she loves to burrow, so I'll keep using the aspen.

Re: Introducing Coa
Cute little milk snake Just make sure you clean the repti-carpet often as it harbors bacteria.

Re: Introducing Coa
Yup, no problem! Got a couple of carpets that I wash and alternate every 2 weeks. I use to like only the astroturf only because I feel that it absorbs more heat from the lamp (as it's darker than the aspen I could reach warmer temps in the "atmosphere" of the tank without getting the lamps close to the lid) but I suppose that the heat is stored now in the aspen.

Re: Introducing Coa
I'll post a little update on Coa for all colubrid fans
She is now fully nocturnal, and taking a good photo is really rare, but took a couple of good shots the other day
