Don't you see? Now that I have pet the majestic Bobcat he will be all I think about. His kisses sealed the spell. iwantotgetonesobadnowbutmustwait

Re: Oh no guys....

The only cure is to bury yourself (in the ground) up to the neck for at least a week and allow the earth to draw out the poison. If you wait too long and the infection settles in all hope will be lost.

But I can't! I have college!

lol, anyway so I got to pet one of the bobcats where I volunteer and now my interest in them has skyrocketed. The little guy is super friendly and was giving me kisses! The powers that be said I would be able to work with him when they are with me so I can get some experience with the beasties. Ima get me some bobcat cuddles!

Oh lol. I had one as a kid. It was a rescue. My mom had a license to keep exotics before she passed away. We always had some neat animals growing up. I wish I had pics but I have had no luck trying to locate some since I moved to Ohio.

That's pretty rad dude. What was he/she like? I hear that Bobcats do terribly if rehomed because they'll miss their old humans so much, or was it rescued as a wildcat? I've read some really wonderful things on the animals when they are raised in the right home with the right people.

Re: Oh no guys....

It was a male that was rescued as a juvenile from a home that didn't have the permits or resources to take care of it. It had a great personality once acclimated and healthy. Adored my mom and was very friendly with me and my dad. Guests in our house were tolerated. Was not aggressive or nervous, just kinda ignored them. Eventually he was given to big cat rescue in Tampa. They had a great facility and my parents knew the owners. It's been 20 years but definitely a very cool time in my life.

cool beans, its great that he acclimated well. I definitely plan on getting one in the future once I have more experience and lots of property somewhere remote. My "boss" said I could go in with him next time rather than pet him through the fence.
