Hey there it's been a while since i have posted on here!
I want to share a couple recent finds from here in Northern California

Scorpion sp?

A neonate northern pacific

and a coral bellied ringneck

will add a few more pics later!

Thank you i was pretty excited it was the first time seeing a western ringneck in the wild. a few more pics from the other day

I grew up in Sacramento and would go up in the hills and catch all of those same species. I need to go back and find a nice rubber boa!

Man i been looking for one in the hills no luck yet. They are one of the coolest looking snakes imo! It is pretty dry right now big drought so pretty tough going as far as finding snakes go but they are out there

I used to find one every night when I would go on scout trips near Emigrant Gap.

I haven't been out at night here and I am sure that has something to do with it. I am also only been looking on the border of their range so less of a change of getting one there.
