What is your favorite python and why

What is your favorite species or general group of pythons and why.
My favorite pythons are carpet pythons because of their curious personalities and their stunning colors and patterns. I also like retics and green trees.

Re: What is your favorite python and why

It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I guess I'd have to say an L.albertisi-Northern White Lipped Python. My next snake will be one of these. I love the iridescence they have, and the black heads with the little bit of white. I like the solid gold color as well. They also achieve a nice size, without being too bulky. I also like the semi-arboreal tendencies they have.

Yeah, I have 2 CRB's. That was part of what drove me to get them, haha.

My favorite is the new one i can have from my wife

On a more serious note : i love burmese coz they're big and sweet. But then again, i also love retics coz they're big and not so sweet^^ (damn, there goes the seriousness...) Very hard to pick any tbh, also like olives, carpets, tree pythons...

Re: What is your favorite python and why

Pure jampea dwarf Retics by far, even over other Retics. My personal first retic, but I don't suggest them as first Retics despite they're relatively smaller size. Active, inelligent, insane feeding response, don't get too big(for a retic), calm as can be after you break their fed mode, beautiful colors and iridescence, keep you on your toes, never a dull moment, I could go on and on.

Retics in general would still be my favorite(so far) that I've worked with. Although I do really enjoy my carpet and childrens. Bloods are really cool too.... I like all pythons from balls to scrubs.

Never had snakes more alert then Retics. Eyes on you and at the front of the cage from the second you enter the snake room til you leave.

White lipped and childrens/spotted.
About the only pythons I really like.
Honestly in general I just don't care for the python look. I much prefer boas.

I'll always have a soft spot for retics. I grew up catching and keeping them.

Re: What is your favorite python and why

I'd have to say retics I only have one, but if I had the room there would be a lot more. I love burms to our boy and girl are well behaved most of the time . And I'd dearly love a scrub one day.
