summer months we usually get sun through the roof windows, so i needed a holding cage whilst i do maintenance in his cage, mainly because he's a mad lizard lol.

So the following holds him out my way & lets in natural light if i open the window, was a bit of a cool draught tonight.

Markings along the cage bottom give you an idea of his length, 6 foot long cage>

That's a very cool monitor, and a neat looking enclosure. Can I ask what size mesh you have used? We are looking to build an outdoor enclosure for our two Mertens' water monitors when they are fully grown.

25mm x 25mm, not sure mesh is the ideal enclosure material, you need to find keepers who have already done it successfully!
