Great Plains Rat snake
Ornate Box Turtle
Saw another nice huge broad banded copperhead but couldn't get a pic. Darn car behind me!

Nice finds. Be careful road cruising Steve, the rules in Texas are silly but be sure to stay within them. I don't even bother cruising paved roads anymore. It's just a PITA.

Yep, I'm careful. I usually try to find roads without any traffic.

Well I mean beyond the safety concerns. The fact you have to have a reflective vest, and hunting incense with a herp stamp, it is virtually impossible to legally road cruise at night (full moon maybe?) etc. Giant PITA.

Yeah, the first year I did the hunting licence, no vest lol, silly unclear laws for sure. I normally walk and take pics. Definitely PITA. There's a fine line between collection and taking pics as well.
