Hello from California

I just joined because a friend is trying to find a home for her son's Rosy Boa and I am thinking about getting it. I have been wanting one for a while so I really hope that it works out. I am a 22 year old girl from California who is interested in pets, music and books and I hope to learn a lot here.

Re: Hello from California

Welcome to the forum None. I don't know much about rosy boas but there are lots of great people here that can help with most questions you might have. Do some research on the animals husbandry needs beforehand and see if it's the right choice for you. Snakes are great animals to keep but be careful, they are addictive . Best wishes.

Re: Hello from California

Thanks everyone, I have had Cornsnakes before and my brother had a Rosy Boa that I helped care for when we were younger. I did quite a bit of reading on Rosy Boas over the last couple of years also .

Re: Hello from California

Welcome aboard! Rosies are great snakes, I had a female a few years ago before I gave her to a friend of mine. Last I checked she's still going strong and approaching twenty years.

Re: Hello from California

Defiantly will be posting pictures when I get it. I am super excited about getting it and am kind of hoping that it will be a good looking one but I will still love it no matter what color it is.
