1st eggs of the season!

Hello all! Had to work some overtime today and came home to quite the surprise. One of my smaller females who had only been paired with my male a couple times had laid a couple eggs! She still has one more in her from what I can tell. Another female is due to drop any day now. This is my first time attempting to breed or incubate eggs. I am very excited! Here are some pics of her inside her egg box. Enjoy!

Re: 1st eggs of the season!

Thanks Steve! It will be a couple days before I know if the eggs are fertile. I will keep updating this thread as things progress...

Re: 1st eggs of the season!

Congrats man. What was the pairing? Can't wait to see the hatchlings. How long so these eggs take to incubate? I've only got a mostly infertile clutch so far this year(7 infertile and 3 that I don't think will make it full term), but I should have another in about a month.

Thanks Sublime! I paired her with a extreme hypo male(falcon line). She is also an extreme hypo female(falcon line) and happens to be one of the lightest females I have ever seen. Hopefully I will end up with some absolutely smoking babies. Incubation usually takes 73-80 days. Sorry to hear about your infertile clutch. Good luck with your next clutches.

Fantastic news! I can't wait to see the babies when they hatch. Please keep us posted on all of your breeding projects.
