Congrats! The Phantasticus are great little geckos, a bit delicate but quite manageable.

I had L. lugubris and H. garnoti - both parthenogenic. One of each escaped - darn suckers get out of anyhwere, so be careful A few mnths after they got out I found eggs all over the herp room and basement. Starting with two of them, you could be overrun with lugubris in no time.

Congrats on the phantasticus!
That's a good price, I hope it's cb.
Mournings are very cool, I think it's only a matter of time before I end up keeping them again.
Enjoy!

Pictures are on my account (click the camera beside my name) and, the u. phantasticus is CB, don't worry, I wouldn't even pay half that for a wc... I atcually tracked it from a guy who I was origianally going to buy mournings from, and then he sold the u.p and the l.l to these people... and now i'm ending up buying the same ones!

How come so many people are seeming to keep L. Lugubris? I asked about a month ago who kept them, or had some history with them, and no replies...
Oh well!

P.S. I plan to sell the mournings' babies for quite cheap to whoever wants them, probably around $5-$10...
P.S.S. I plan to breed he U. Phantasticus... anyone know of any people who have some females (preferably in BC)?

There is lots of variability on care info because lugubris are practically indestructable. (compared to other geckos)
They seem to do fine as long as the room temp is at least in the 70's and there is proper humidity. They don't need too much humidity, if you mist their enclosure once a day they should be fine. Also make sure that you leave some water out for them at all times, mine used to drink standing water on a regular basis.

I'm going to be in B.C. in April & again over the summer... I might be interested in a few lugubris.
