For now they are on paper towel, simple setup. 2 of them are already sold pending the end of quarantine, the 3rd is mine and will be going into a 40 gal

How long do you plan to keep them on paper towels? It is certainly not a suitable substrate for any long-term housing. Why bother with the 40 gallon? He will outgrow it in a very short period of time.

they are on paper towel for quarantine. and a 40 gallon is what i have right now. Lots of time this summer to build a proper adult enclosure for him
