They're both very beautiful. I'd never seen or heard of cape house snakes until today. Thanks for sharing.

Re: New Indigo & Ukiah pictures. Cape House snakes.

They are pretty much the African equivalent of the corn snake. Definitely a neat species and kind of under appreciated.

What are their husbandry requirements like? How large do they get? I could Google but I prefer to hear from keepers

Very pretty snakes, especially Indigo. I really like the eyes which look so different. Thanks for sharing.

Females get around 4' and males pretty much max out around 3' and they like it a bit warmer than corn snakes. Hot side around 87-90 and cool side 75-78 or so. Most are very good eaters and take F/T mice readily.

Thanks! I love their eyes too! Look kind of venomous without being venomous!

Very nice snakes, and great pictures.
Does the albino have something in its nostril? It looks like a black spec in there or something.

You know, I noticed that too but couldn't see anything in her nostril when I got looking closely.

Snapped a few pictures of Indigo a minute ago while I had her out to hold.

Good timing on this one!

Re: New Indigo & Ukiah pictures. Cape House snakes.

Fairly similar to a corn, maybe a bit flightier in general than corns.
