New build for T.K. (Monster Red Tail)

So, as I mentioned in another section, I was finally able to get one of my all time favorite snakes, a red tail. He is in a temp enclosure, but I am making him a much better one!

This is the first days work. What you see is the floor. I am going to insulate the bottom, before adding the actual flooring. The wood will be polyurethane sealed, and then I have some left over laminate wood flooring from a house remodel that will be going in as well.

The window I got courtesy of Craigslist for free. The enclosure is going to be 5 feet wide, just shy of 3 feet deep and about 2.5 feet tall.

Planning in getting the walls done tomorrow after I get done with the job.

likewise i love home made enclosures building them and figuring out the details are so much fun next year ill have to build new enclosures for both my Irian Jaya Carpets 4x4x3 im not going to have much room left when im done.....keep us updated on your progress

Well, went out to d some work today, and not only where all my tools stolen, but my entire workshop trashed. So, 3 hours of talking to the police and nothing they can do...

So the build is on hold, or really canceled. I've got a buddy that builds PVC enclosures similar to boaphiles. Ill be picking one up from him here pretty soon.

Well, it's a good this I wasn't there. Luckily I have insurance for a reason, just time to battle them.
