does anyone else keep their sheds?
Maybe I'm weird and this is some display of a deeper issue but I keep good sheds. I was also thinking about trying to find a nice big shed from a burm or retic to use as a wall decoration.

Re: does anyone else keep their sheds?
I used to as well but once I realized I had a enough shed to make a canoe I decided it was time to toss them.

LOL. I figure when my snake stops growing so dramatically it won't be as interesting.

Re: does anyone else keep their sheds?
I wish i still had most of my old collection love to collect them. Sadly my retics always took a cr*p in their shed.. Never had nice big ones ..
I even have one i turned back right way out! which is not easy to do but a lot more colors show that way.

You're right that the inside is more dramatic! I cut this one open to show the colors.

OP, I keep them and make them into accessories and crafts. I'm going to try some jewelry with this one. It's 70 inches, and she is about 60. I will probably save one to display when she is bigger. I did keep her first couple though. The rest get cut up and turned into things.

Re: does anyone else keep their sheds?
The only ones i've kept in the past have been my babies sheds....Don't know why, but i was keeping the first 3 or 4 sheds of each baby i produced....I'll probably do the same when this season's litters are born

Re: does anyone else keep their sheds?
I used to keep them, I am kind of a germ freak though and they sometimes gross me out so I always end up throwing them away. Plus my snakes like to go to the bathroom while they are shedding so most of the time they end up being filled with feces. Which does make it easier to clean up because it is inside the shed.. but it's also extremely disgusting at the same time lol.
