Question??
Hey,
I saw this snake on a theme for windows. Trying to figure out what this thing happens to be is driving me insane. It does not appear to be venomous (I am inferring based on the shape of the head) but I could be wrong. Any leads would be great, I am absolutely obsessed with this beast lol.
I have attached the image of said snake, any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Question??
I STRONGLY suspect that photo has been photo-shopped since the normal color of that snake is green.

Actually, you're wrong there!
That is an Atheris squamigera, the variable bush viper. Much like eyelash palm vipers, they come in many colors, including green, yellow, red, black, purple, brown and any combination thereof. This particular specimen, while almost hard to believe, is actually real. Squams really can be that red. I've seen them in person, and they are amazing. A quality red squam will run you about $500-600 now. Green just happens to be the default common color in captivity, much like it is with eyelash vipers. Breeding two greens will result in mostly green babies, but breeding colorful parents can yield a rainbow of offspring. A friend of mine just had two litters born, and the babies are primarily red and black ones. They're sooo tiny and adorable!

Re: Question??
I like the actual image a lot more than the enhanced one, personally. That first color is just too pink. Thanks for finding it!

I agree. If you Google "snake wallpapers" you'll see a bunch of snakes photo-shopped lol.
