Love the size! How are you heating it? Will you add another hide? My big boas don't use hides ever.

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
i would melt the edges of that cut out for the hide and roll them over so it does not cut itself. then you would be kicking yourself in the ***. but looks good!

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
Yeh I'll fix up the hide better I just wanted to get her out of the Rubbermaid. For heat I have 1 250w CHE and 1 100w bulb hooked to a thermostat. I might get another small one for the cool side. Right now temps are around 88 hot side 78 cool side.

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
That hide seems a bit big. Why not go with something that a was little more cramped and had less vertical space?

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
Looks good mate but I wouldn't use sticky tape to hold the probe down. I've seen some pics of snakes that got tape stuck to them and it's not nice . I hope your not offended by my comment I'm just trying to save you some heartache

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
I would get rid of the probe altogether. I doubt some bodily fluids will do any good for it. Use a temp gun to get your readings.

Re: My burn checking out new enclosure.
Yeah I know it's not perfect I still got some stuff to set up. I was in a hurry to get her out of the Rubbermaid container I had her in. I used that hide cause she's only about 5 months old so she will get bigger fast and she sits on top of it more then in it anyway. I'll ditch the tape and stuff soon.
