Yellow Belly
Why is my snake's white belly turning yellow??

It could be staining from the substrate.. or if there is waste left in the enclosure it can also stain the ventral scales. Check on it after it sheds and if it's white again then it was probably nothing to worry about.

He shed two days ago and it's (his scales now) extremely yellow...

My cal king used to go yellow on his tummy but only when I used aspen shavings, I switched it out to just paper towel and now he doesn't go yellow.. I was worried that there might have been weird dyes in the substrate (but it could have also just been the natural colouring of the wood)

That's what I was thinking. I did some research a while ago and people were saying it might have been the bedding. I hope it's not unhealthy. How often change your paper towels?
