Floor cover
Hi all,
I've got plenty of hides in my snake tanks. Where is a good place to order the plastic or silk plants from? They're kinda expensive at the pet store.

Re: Floor cover
I get my fake plants from various dollar stores, or from 2nd hand stores like goodwill or deseret industries.

Re: Floor cover
You might also want to try Hobby Lobby is you have one near you. They have a great selection and they almost always have some on sale for 50% off. Michaels also has fake plants, but they don't seem to have quite as good a selection as Hobby Lobby.

Thanks Jim, there's a Hobby Lobby not too far from my house. I'll check them out.

Re: Floor cover
I took fake plants from hobby lobby got suction cups with metal hooks on them and bent the metal around the plants and made them hanging... I got the idea from a video from iSnake2010. I also just got a bushyish plants and set the short stem under the water bowl so it stays... It looks really nice... I can send you pictures if you want.... Good luck!

Re: Floor cover
I drilled a small hole through the stems of some hobby store plants and stuck the metal clip thingy from suction cups I bought on eBay through em and hung them up.

Re: Floor cover
pet mountain also has alot of cheap habitat supplies and stuff but you will have to pay shipping unless you spend a certain amount. The plants start at like $3 with the suction cups attached. lol
