Why does she does this?
I walked by and saw her doing this and it was so weird... She's never done it before. I snapped a couple pictures and when she saw me she put her head down and looked at me like I was crazy. It's feeding day in about 36 hours for her so maybe that's why she's waiting?

Re: Why does she does this?
my corns will sit like that out from under their water dishes, but slightly less extreme. Ive never thought it was something to be concerned about, just a thing that they did…

Re: Why does she does this?
When I used lights, my boa would do the same. I guess the light intrigues them? Since she looked at you and moved out of position, I doubt it's an issue. I would say it's normal and not to worry.

Re: Why does she does this?
She was doing it again today and I fed her this evening. She eats every Sunday so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what she was waiting for! She's a voracious girl so she'd probably be pretty miffed if I didn't feed her on time.

Re: Why does she does this?
It is snake yoga. She is working on her breathing.
It could be her just scanning her environment. I think it is so cool when snakes periscope.
