Pituophis tail rattle
So my gopher has a very strong feed response. She tosses substrate around and wags her tail at the scent of prey. I always just set her rat on the top of one of her hides. She trucks around looking for it with her tail doing this. Gotta love pits!!!
They do this as well as hiss like they are going to strike but once you grab them they are very calm (most)
My Skittles here was about 13"when we got her and now she is well over 4'

I'm not sure cute is the word. She is all business when it comes to food. She has coated me in ecoearth striking prey. But this is what makes her so cool to have.

My pit is ridiculous I don't rest her food on anything. I just open the lid and she throws herself all over it
