New Beautiful Male het Albino BCC (Pics)
Hey guys... so just wanted to show you guys my new addition to my family :P I'm new to the forum but not to owning snakes. ATM I only have the one snake I just got 4 days ago, a male het albino BCC, 1 yr old about 34" long. I find he was a bit underfed at his previous owners because his ribs and spine stick out... if he were to ever get sick or refuse to eat because of a seasonal change he would be end up being dangerously skinny imo. So, I'm working on beefing him up at the moment. But here he is :P His name is Red.
His beautiful tail patterning!

And this guy pictured below is Banjo. He was my BCI I had years ago. I ended up selling him because he went off f/t rats out of no where and I cannot feed live rats, I'm too much of a softy to do that I think lol So sold him to a guy who was willing to feed him live. He was a big puppy dog! He hit about 5 feet before I had to sell him

Ya... I didn't know that a het albino has to be a cross to BCI? Is there no albino BCC's? Looking at him he looks like a pure BCC to me... he's got the proper BCC saddle peaks and everything. I don't know how the genetics work for these guys. lol I was told he was a pure BCC het albino.

Not that I know of and tbh why would anybody want an albino? Normal BCC's are perfect as it is.

Re: New Beautiful Male het Albino BCC (Pics)
There are alot of albinos with bcc blood, alot of breeders are doing it to color up their albino lines. Depending on his lineage he could have a high percentage of bcc looking at him he looks very much full bcc so I bet it is a pretty high precentage. the albino in my avatar is 25% bcc. Steve Reiners at boa morph dot com has a great coral line that uses bcc blood.
bcc are great on their own and alot of people preach the pure opinion but morphers are morphers and are always looking for the best and coolest mixture as long as the animals are represented correctly and what they are I dont see the problem with it

Oh ok. good to know. I agree he looks a lot like a pure BCC more than a BCI, but if he isn't pure BCC because he's het albino, whatever lol he's a beautiful boy and I got him for his temperament not his lineage :P He's so chill, I love him. I'm just gunna call him BCC just cause he definitely looks like a pure BCC to me:P

Re: New Beautiful Male het Albino BCC (Pics)
I dont think it gets much better than a nice example of a pure bcc when it comes to boas. Prefer them to all the morphs of bci, and even the rainbows. Only boas I like more are Etbs. pure or not, yours is nice so who cares!

Here's one reason:
Produced and photographed by Basically Boas

I would advise against this. Misrepresentation is the main reason the purists say not to do these types of crosses. It takes no extra effort to label it correctly and will avoid confusion and all the question you are likely to receive which will lead you to end up explaining exactly what it is anyway.
