Rat question

I fed all my pythons yesterday, and ended up with an extra rat pup that I now have to care for since all of my snakes eat much larger meals, and this would probably get rejected, or killed and left in the tank. I'm feeding it and caring for it, and I wanted to know if anyone knew how to prevent them from squirming so much during feeding. He is hungry, goes for the tip of the eye dropper all the time when I rub it on his mouth, but he almost gets over-excited and squirms all over lol. I can't keep him steady enough to get a good amount of milk into his system. I have to do this several times before he is fed enough. I am trying to slowly wean him off the milk and onto solid food, but it's going to take some time. So if anyone has experience with rat pups, could I please get some advice? Thanks

I have raised rat pups before, but none were this squirmy lol.

Re: Rat question

Sometimes there just super squirmers, could it be that he wants you to relieve him sooner?
