Stacking plastic enclosures - Animal Plastics, Boaphile, PVC...etc

I've talked to one of the representatives of Animal Plastics and I was told that they no longer recess the heat tape into the enclosures. Do the stacking pins of any of the different brand enclosures give enough space between enclosures so that the heat tape isn't pinched? Do companies like boaphile and PVC cages recess the bottom panel so that there is an are where you can install flexxwatt and have the cages stacked directly on top of eachother?

I have 2 boaphiles stacked one on top of another, with flexwatt tape. Boaphile sent them ready made, with the flexwatt already attached, and ready to be stacked. They work perfectly for me.

Nice. Is the heat tape recessed into the cage? How does it not get pinched inbetween each enclosure when stacked?
