some finds today

3 medium garters and a tiny one all along the road after the clouds left and sun came out

Here is a female shorthead garter i believe it is gravid

and to eastern garters basking in the yard i believe is also gravid

wow where do you live? So many snakes

i live in north western pa the back road as about 10 foot area grass area with woods boarder with a creek then runs through the woods.the snakes come out and bask on the road and in the grassy area.After i search the road i head over into the field and lift stuff up.The ones in the yard probably live in the yard or at least in the stone fence at the edge of the yard.If you go to town theres a major river running through it and thats where i hunt my turtles and water snakes.
