Re: The "Bite Club" thread
it's funny, none of the snakes i've ever owned have been bitey. the only bite i ever had was by my friends 6+foot redtail when i was trying to put him back in his viv after he ate and he was CLEARLY still hungry lol, as he let my hand know.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
Lol yeah - he hasny bitten for months and suddenly BANG! Will let him off tho since he is going into blue - just a shame it is so hard to tell when he is curled up in his viv. thankfully she always gets him out as his viv is floor level and its easier for her to get him than for me.
He got her 3 times in all easily in under a second.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
I just joined the bite club. I fed my BP in his tank, on a plate as I always do. He wolfed it down in 10 mins, and had just finished, when I decided to reach into his tank to remove the plate. Not sure why I decided to do so right after he just fnished eating :S stupid, thoughtless move on my part. so he bit me twice before I even saw him move, iit took me a few seconds to realize what had happened lol. Well at least he reminded to me be more respectful to a snake still in feeding mode!! On another note, when he struck for the rat, it was two feet above him :O he struck as I opened the lid for his tank. I thought it was pretty impressive.

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
Lesson learnt! I think I need to start feeding him medium rats, a small one every 2 days doesn't seem to be filling him up!

Re: The "Bite Club" thread
Thats fightbite! who did you punch!!
On a serious note, I've never heard of feeding a BP every 2 days, it should be every 7. Would you take pics of the Bp and his food in a way that we can see them side by side please? It does sound like his food may be WAY too small.
