Thanks, sharthun! I love this little guy. I've gone from feeding him every three days to feeding him every two days. I'll slow down when he gets up to about five feet or so, but he had some catching up to do size-wise when I got him. He's definitely growing like a weed now though.

Hey, guys, thanks again for the comments. Usually, this time of year, I spend every day with my falconry hobby and filming it with my gopro. I'm taking a short break from falconry this year, so I've turned my camera to my other hobby. So, here's another pointless video of Loki at feeding time. (He needs a bigger flower pot now )

I so look forward to your posts eminart. That Loki is something special. And you're a Falconer? That's another 1000 cool points .
Yes, but I don't know about cool points. My wife would probably call them crazy points.

At the moment, I'm birdless. I'll pick back up next fall. I usually fly red tailed hawks. Most falcons aren't really cut out for the game and terrain we have in alabama.

No, I said "pick back up", meaning I'll get a new hawk, and restart my falconry. This particular season started off poorly (had a hawk die from complications with a broken leg), and didn't get much better, so I'm taking a short break. As far as what I hunt, with the red tails, I hunt rabbits and squirrels. Other birds can be used to hunt various other things (mostly birds) but the majority of falconers in the southeast focus on rabbits and squirrels, and that's my preference as well.
