Hmmmm. My sister's 16...I think. Or maybe she's 17. I forget. Either way, think I can make her fit?

probably... you just have to make sure the temps and humidity are all perfect. Siblings are hard to keep in captivity.

Back on Topic. I think the OP did the right thing by coming here. She doesn't want her pet(s) anymore. You guys gave her some info and where she could go to re-home it. I think its crappy that she has this animal that she took responsibility for and is giving it away, but then again some people treat their children worse.

Well, the problem isn't that she's giving it away. She's looking for money. Furthermore, she claimed to not be able to afford it because she's in school, then later admitted she just needed money for a "new project" that she's working on. If she just came and said that she couldn't afford it and would rather see it go to someone who can take better care of it, and that it goes free with everything, then this would all be very different. I got a beardie when I was younger, but something came up and I felt I couldn't provide it with the best care, so I gave it to a friend who'd been looking for one along with its food, hides, lights, fixtures, supplements, enclosure, etc., and I didn't ask for a cent.

Re: Please read this post !!!!!!!!!

Thank you for putting it in a very elegant and simple way, willow. I obviously could not. I got too irritated.

To the OP...i'm actually planning on going back to college in January. I paid my own way the first time through, and now i'm picking a different career. I had animals the entire time i lived in the dorm. I worked outside of the school, as well as through the school (they provide jobs for those that qualify if you ask the financial aid department).
Not that it matters.

You've explained now that you want to get some money and start a new project. *shrug* thank you for the honesty. I'm sure as you start new projects, then get tired of them and sell those animals, you will be able to continue school just fine.

at least we don't buy animals we're going to get sick of, and then try to get money out of them.

When you can't win an argument and you know it, the first step anyone takes is to start calling names and slinging mud...
