Re: Introducing Wash - Brazilian Rainbow boa

Today was a very nice day, one of the nicest of the year so far, so I decided to get some natural light pictures of some of the snakes. So Wash got his first outdoor photo shoot today! I don't think he was impressed with the great outdoors, he just froze when I took him out, which was great for taking pictures anyway.

That is one gorgeous Rainbow!

Now you've gone and made me miss Firefly again.

Re: Introducing Wash - Brazilian Rainbow boa

I'm always impressed by the number of people that know where all our Firefly names are from, the show had/has such a large following. It really stinks that they cancelled it after so few episodes!

Re: Introducing Wash - Brazilian Rainbow boa

Tried to take some outdoor pictures today, wanted to take them in a shadier part of the yard. Unfortunately it was just slightly too dark there for my lens and most of them came out blurry. This was the only one that came out.

Finally figured out what the problem was and moved him over into the sun.

My two favorite pictures.

Love this one!

He went through a pretty big growth spurt this month and is up to 123 grams.
