Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!

you can go to any pet store and get a fish tank back round or go to a fabric craft store and just get some nice fabric.

what dirt are you using?

You can just use aspen by itself, you'd want it to be at least a little moist to keep the humidity up a little bit.

Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!

what're the dimensions on the back of the tank? If you want something really nice you could find an image that is large enough and go to Kinkos or another print shop and have them print it for you on some nice paper.

Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!

I use cypress mulch, but it is probably better suited for snakes that require higher humidity like mine does, cypress mulch is awesome for burrowing/etc (he loves it) when it has a little moisture but if it dries out its not the best, I mist every few days or so to keep humidity around 70-80% when hes shedding so the substrate is usually moist, and 60-70% otherwise.
