While I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the shed or the greatest herp owner in the world, in this particular instance, I don't think he's done anything wrong. If I were to adopt a snake because someone couldn't care for it and then was offered a trade in which I could acquire something I really wanted, I would probably do it. I understand your desire to take issue with him, but that doesn't mean you have to take issue with every single thing he says or does, as you obviously tend to do with people you don't like. I doubt, if anyone else was saying they were going to do this, you'd make such a fuss.

My track record? The only thing disputable was that I used diluted permethrin instead of nix or pam. I never even asked anyone on here about killing mites as I already knew how so that should have never even been brought up. So would you like to explain my "track record"?

How is that hypocritical? You obviously missed my entire point. I'm saying that it's unreasonable to be a prick to Corey for doing something that someone else could do without any issues from Korbin. I very blatantly stated that, despite the fact that I don't think Corey is the best herp keeper in the world, he's not doing anything wrong in this particular instance. So, no, I'm not being hypocritical. Nice try though.

I'm definitely not stupid.. but you're right I'm not the best herp keeper. I'm new to the scene and am still learning but all my animals are healthy and I've taken care of complications that have arisen which I'm sure has happened to everyone.

Besides that nothing I have done deserves me being scolded. I'm pretty sure I read a post about this (http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/gener...yone-ends.html). I don't appreciate the "personal jabs" that korbin keeps attacking me with. In ANY profession there's questionable methods like as I stated before I used diluted permethrin.

Wayne put up that thread but it doesn't mean someone can't call you out or say that you're practices are less than ideal.

Personally, I would never adopt or rescue an animal and than flip it. That goes against like everything you just did. I would put that into the category of the same people who operate a "rescue" for free reptiles to either breed/sell/trade.

If you're new to the scene then I would just stick with a couple animals as you had and just learn them. You won't learn how to do anything by species hopping every 5 minutes. I would even question the "all animals are healthy" because you obviously have no quarantine practices and just keep switching animals. How would you know they were healthy?

Here is the problem with your post. You don't know anything about me. Go look up how I feel about people that just keep trading snakes then you can answer your own question.

Corey that will bring you up to five snakes in a couple of months. I feel you are extremely irresponsible. Either you first boa got it's ri with you or the pet shop. If it was with you then you haven't taken responsibility. If it was with the pet store you have also been irresponsible by taking their advice on the mite treatment and also by accepting another snake.... which they may have mislabeled. Regardless you snubbed solid advice from knowledgeable keepers.

So you can call me a narrow minded prick all you want but that won't phase me at all. Do you know why? Because I see stupidity. Now get out of that tree Arney .

Dude, I so don't care. I'm not sticking up for you. I'm sticking up for the fact that it's unreasonable to attack someone for doing something that another person could do without a word being said. No matter how much I might dislike someone, that doesn't mean it's appropriate to say they're doing something wrong when they're not. Ignore him and don't whine and we'll all be hunky-dory.

And apologies to OP about derailing the thread. In summation, you've got a couple options. It comes down to what you want and what suits you best.
