Actually the appropriate name would be Lolrage but I highly doubt that the friends with higher authority will approve. I mean really have you guys heard "lol" pronounced in real life?

*sigh* Apparently it isn't since you clearly "have to have" their approval. (Otherwise, you would stick with the perfectly good name you already came up with and would tell them to "zip it" and worry about naming their own animals.)
As has been mentioned, naming a pet -- like naming a child or practically anything for that matter -- has nothing to do with experience and everything to do with personal tastes.

Hahaha no help at all. My kids like to try to help with names. We once had a mouse named "Fuzzy Willy" Fuzzy because he was and Willy because he was black and white like free willy the orca.

We had a ferret I named Oscar.. My son was just learning to talk and he called it Oster.... lol
