Well, some updates!

I figured id offer since she was out and exploring, though normally its the "give a few days to adjust" thing, but i opened the top, dangled a mouse and she instantly struck right at it (granted, the side of it, lol!) so.. i guess shes already settling in, so to speak.

(thats her humid hide, im grabbing moss tomorrow and some bigger hides), shes bigger than I thought she'd be!

She squeezed it so hard she squeezed some blood out, she didnt touch the face at all and it wasnt like that when i thawed it.. (dayum!)

By the way.. Im thinking of naming her Doris (a bright orange sea slug and a badass sea nymph in greek mythology, since she loves water so much.. i figure it applies!)

Went to go change her water (she got a ton of substrate in it lol)

and i cant even see her, figure shes under a hide or something..

grab the dish, turns out shes under the substrate right near the dish, she jumped and tagged me so bad (didnt hurt me much) that she flew right out of the cage when i pulled my hand back, since i didn't even know she was near me nevermind about to strike from the darkness lol!

so she gets super pissy and starts striking even though im like 3 feet away from her and shes just sitting on my floor.. i macgyvred a snake hook from a wire hanger and popped her back in her cage after swapping out the water, lol..

aww little teeth!

(my first snake bite btw, of many id assume the way this one likes to show affection)

Thanks for this tip!, but I knew that! The thing is.. She ate recently and I wasn't planning on handling her for a few days anyway, she still had a visible lump so I didnt want to make her puke at me or anything.. I expect to get bit but If I just ignore it (assuming she doesn't wrap me and try to eat my hand lol) and just calmly handle her, she'll eventually learn biting wont do anything and get used to it sooner or later.
