David,

I got your point...........and it is a valid one. However, I was just trying to point out that just because something is more money doesn't mean it is of better quality.

Corey
PS 19 clutches now on the way.

2000 U.S. with the exchange + shipping+cities+ duty+vet inspection+ phone bills + the wait for the paper work +++ = almost what the Canadians want!
And look at what Pastels go for here in Canada a lot less than the U.S. market, so it all works out in the end.

Okay Corey, I don't want to argue with you anymore. Your point is acknowledged. This thread started out as a nice "joking around" one with a few friends. I thought that you had good intentions and didn't want you feel left out so I started a friendly joke around session with you as well.

That was a mistake however b/c all you cared about was letting everyone know how much better you are then them and how their breeding is not as good as yours. You rambled on about what you are going to be producing like a cheap car sales man that has 30 seconds to sell a car.

Do you understand that I don't plan to get rich off of this like you do? You want to become a self made millionaire from ball python morphs or become famous from doing this, I do not. This is fun for me, please don't forget that and make this hobby a big soap opera. If I wanted that I would be doing something different.

It is very nice that you have 19 clutches on the way, thanks for pointing that out as well. I am sure there are ppl lined up give you their soul for them. I hope you sell them all and get back your investment, time and a good return.

Dave

p.s. this is now a DEAD thread

David,

You crack me up. I wasn't arguing with you. I was stating my point. You seem to have taken offense my comments and that was not the intent.

I don't know where you get the idea that I think I'm better than everyone else. I guess it's alright for everyone else to state how they are doing but it becomes offensive when I do it.

If it makes you feel better that you think I'm just into balls to make a million $$ then you are entitled to that. I'm a person with intengrity and if selling snakes for a high price ticks people off then I don't really give a ****.

I've already made my investments back.................are you jealous?

I thought you had changed from years ago. I see you are still a little prick.

glad to see everyone is doing so well...
i have two questions
1) for ball's how long is the gestation period? I think i remember reading that its about 50 something days from laying to hatching but how long is the gestation in the mother

2) does this slapping this work on all boids or just ballpythons?

thanks

For most pythons you have ovulation, 10-14 days later you have ovulation and then 25-30 days later (average is 28 days at a hot spot of 92F) you get eggs. I have found that keeping track of the ovulations isn't all that's important......what is important is keeping track of the sheds. The reason being is that if you have 2 females ovulate on the same day but shed 2 days apart usually you get eggs from them 2-3 days apart.

I have received eggs as early as 47 days after ovulation and as late as 60 days.

Snapping the males will only provoke them to breed harder as I was told by a good friend of mine.
