I play the piano and used to play the Clarinet. I stopped piano at age 16, but I stopped. I can still play and I do it when I'm bored or want attention, I'm pretty damn good.

Soul Reaper - I love that design, but the artistry looks VERY familiar... do you know the name of the artist? Was it Mike Bohatch or Jason Beam by chance, or was there an artist in that company you mentioned who designed it? In either event, that is absolutely incredible!!!!

I've been playing piano since I was around 8. I hardly play anymore though. In high school I played for a jazz choir, but I prefer playing for myself.

Hey man!
Unfortunately it is not Mike Bohatch. Damn i would love to have his work on my drums, but he's relatively famous and getting his authorized permission would be impossible. Same with Jason Beam or Cam De Leon.
This guy is english, i found his work on a website a couple of months ago (can't remember which) and i just knew that i needed to have that particular piece on my drums somehow, so i contacted him and he e-mailed me the permission to use his work on the same day, it was quite simple.
I am a big fan of Modern Dark Art, i only draw and paint. I wanna get into photo manipulation soon, i've seen enough brilliant art pieces comming out from photoshop so i would love to give it a shot.
Thanks for the kind words by the way guys! I have a whole concept for my kit that i wanna get done before christmas, that concept includes everything from custom painted cymbal stands to snare drum, i'm trying to make my kit a big canvas. I'll definately post a pic here when the final design is done.
Til then, keep on rockin'!

Soul Reaper - If you remember the name of the artist or his website, let me know. In the mean time, I think I'll post some of my Dark Art in another thread. Be sure to check it out, I love getting feedback, positive or negative.

Invictus:
The guy called himself "Wildtimez", he's from England and his favorite genre of music was R&B (go figure), i never got to know his real name or any further info unfortunately.
I remember i found his art on some gallery, but it's been months since i found it. Go to www.darklinks.com/darkart.html , that site has tons of different galleries from many different artists, see if you have any luck. I'll try to look it up too...
As for your Art, i would love to check it out. I am always looking up new artists and new concepts, so seeing what the "inside of your brain" looks like would be cool. What do you use to create mostly?

Right on man! Like i said, i'm only working with the basic pencil and paper and oil paintings. But i have fooled around with photoshop before and i'm definately enthusiastic about it, i'll probably get started on something by february, i'll post my progress here as i go, so maybe you can give me some pointers.
Let me know whenever you post something up, i'll make sure to check it out.
*cheers*

The DOC played back up for Merilee Rush in the late 60's. He played bass guitar and was a singer, his group was usually used as a lead off band, but he enjoyed taking over for her bass player when he was unavailable, played the SAX, for 9 years. (For those that don't know, she sang the origional song... "Angel of the morning")
ME? I have written a few songs, and been the "WORD MAN" for a few budding musicians, I have the gift of poetry, music, and "other gifts". Hope this doesn't show our age TOO much!
Take care... Jan
